Colleen Williams has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2007. After 190 hours of clinical training in Bakersfield, California, where she graduated from Golden State College, she obtained experience working with individuals who were experiencing back pain and other chronic types of pain and injury. She has also worked with providers who specialized in alternative therapies of all kinds, including acupuncture, cupping and herbs, which has allowed her to see all the ways the body can be assisted in healing itself.
Her experiences have given Colleen a love of helping people and a heart for working with those who need massage for therapeutic benefit and not just as a luxury. This has framed the way she views massage and how she offers her own services today: "I love helping people feel better. Massage is able to help so many different people, from young athletes who want to perform at their highest level to elderly patients struggling with circulation issues or pain and need relief. Massage is truly for all walks of life and all lifestyles."
She loves sees patients come in with a problem or pain walk out feeling better. Whether the issue is injury, stress, or mental health, she takes her patients' concerns seriously and uses massage to help improve their quality of life.
